Edison supports the WINforum (Washington Interscholastic Nutrition Forum) team in providing access to accurate, science-based sport nutrition information for student-athletes, coaches, and parents through WINforum sport nutrition clinics and an on-line website (WINforum.org).
Edison spent seven seasons as the Sports Dietitian for the University of Washington Athletic Department. Edison also consults for athletic departments at University of Puget Sound, Pacific Lutheran University, and Seattle University, providing nutrition coaching for athletes, coaches and training staff. Many National and Olympic level athletes look to Edison for her sport nutrition guidance.
Her work has been featured in the Seattle Times, magazines including Women’s Running and Jump, and the Alaska Airlines Magazine.
Emily graduated with honors from Washington State University with a degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition and received her Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition with emphasis in Sport Nutrition from Marywood University in Scranton PA. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and takes part in ADA’s practice groups for sports nutritionists (SCAN) and nutrition entrepreneurs (NE).
